Discover practical tools for a healthier, stronger and more fulfilling life.

Hey friends! 👋

I’m Jan. I study nutrition, movement, sleep, mental health and the habits of high performers to understand what genuinely helps us live healthier and more fulfilling lives.

I separate useful evidence from health hype and turn complex ideas into practical strategies you can apply in everyday life.

My goal is to make health easier to understand – and easier to put into practice.

How to feel better and accomplish more

Like any other person, I deal with anxiety, worries, procrastination, feeling unmotivated, overwhelmed and not good enough.

I’ve tried many tactics and tools to help me feel better. The one thing that helped me the most was journaling.

Journaling is a evidence-informed and time-tested tool tool to calm your mind and stress less, overcome worries and focus more on the things that matter to you.

I created Joyrnal to make journaling easier to start, maintain and turn into a meaningful daily habit.

Four pillars for amazing life:

The human brain and body are complex, but living well does not need to be. These are the four areas I consider fundamental to long-term health, performance and quality of life.

Nutrition

Understand nutrition without rigid diets or unnecessary complexity. Learn how food affects health, performance and longevity—and how to make better everyday decisions

Sleep

Improve your sleep by understanding the habits, environment and biological rhythms that influence recovery, energy and mental performance.

Emotional health

Develop practical tools to manage stress, understand your emotions and approach life with greater clarity and resilience.
